Oliver P. Luce
Turon - Oliver P. Luce, 73, retired farmer, died in his home Sunday night.
He was born in Arcola, Ill., Nov. 14, 1875 and in 1910 moved to a farm four miles north of Cunningham. In 1939 he retired and moved to Turon. He was a member of Odd Fellows Lodge at Cunningham and Turon.
Survivors are his widow, Hannah; three sons, J. W., Cunningham, P. G., St. Joseph, Mo., and A. T., Turon; two daughters, Mrs. M. C. Cozens, Coats and Mrs. Wesley Mosely, Vichy, Mo.; 10 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Turon Methodist Church with Rev. H. R. Husted officiating. Burial will be in Shelman cemetery, Cunningham, with services by the Odd Fellows.
