MR. JESS W. BRAMBLETT PASSED AWAY JANUARY, 19 (1951)

The hearts of relatives and friends were saddened at the passing of a beloved citizen of this county, Mr Jess W. Bramblett after a short illness Friday night January 19. Mr. Bramblett would have been 80 years of age if he had lived a few weeks longer. He was a good christian man, a member of Friendship Baptist church and well loved by all who knew him. He is survived by his widow, one daughter, Mrs Otto Heard of Marietta and one son, Mr. Grady Bramblett, a number of Grandchildren, brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews and a host of friends in his community, this county and elsewhere. We extend our deepest sympathy to all of these, we of the Forsyth County News count ourselves in that number who mourn his passing. Funeral services were held Sunday January 21 at 2:00 p. m. at the Friendship Baptist Church, with the Revs. Duffie Martin, P. W. Tribble and Cochran making very kind remarks concerning the life of Mr Bramblett and consoling words to the bereaved.
