William S. Adams, a resident of Arlington for many years, died Monday at the Dodge County Hospital in Fremont. He was 80 years old. Mr. Adams was born at Danvers, Illinois Dec. 17, 1882 and came to Nebraska by covered wagon at the age of five. Most of his life he worked for the Marshall Nurseries.
He was married to Edith May Clark September 26, 1906 at Fremont. Mrs. Adams died in December, 1960. A son Lloyd, preceded his father in death.

He is survived by a daughter (Eula), Mrs. Louren Masters of Lincoln, and a son, Willard, who lives in Arlington. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are to be held at the Arlington Congregational Church on Thursday afternoon at 2 p.m. The Rev. Clare Olney,of the Blair Congregational Church, will conduct the services. Burial, under the direction of the Reckmeyer Funeral Home, will be made in the Arlington Cemetery.
