Donald L. Wilda, 3-1/2 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Wilda, died Wednesday (March 17, 1965) at the University of Illinois Research Hospital, Chicago
Death followed a lingering illness.
The child was born in Milwaukee, Wis. The family came to Joliet two years ago.
His father, Lawrence Wilda is employed by the Rochester Germicide Co., at Aurora.
Besides the father, Donald and the mother, the former Carol Walentiny, he is survived by a two-year- old brother, Peter A., of Joliet; his maternal grandparents, Henry and Gertrude Fels Walentiny of South Milwaukee, Wis.;and his paternal grandparents, Richard and Amanda Kettwig Wilda of Joliet.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home with burial in St. John's Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 7 to 9 p.m.
Note: Donald Wilda was removed from St. John Cemetary in Joliet to Abraham Lincoln National to be buried with his father Lawrence Wilda.
