Anna A. Anspach, 88, of Anspach Drive, passed away Monday, November 23, 2009, at home surrounded by her family. Born on December 20, 1920, in Pine Grove Twp., she was a daughter of the late Harry H. and Lillie M. Miller Darkes. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Pine Grove, where she made the wine for many years. She was a 1938 graduate of Fredericksburg Area High School. Anna worked as a seamstress for the former Fox Knapp Mfg., Pine Grove, and as a food service worker for the Pine Grove Area School District. Her hobbies included sewing, crocheting, and watching her great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, George S. Anspach, on May 30, 1971, and five brothers and sisters. Surviving are her son, James J. Anspach of Pine Grove; two grandchildren, Jennifer Anspach of Pine Grove and Jason and his wife, Kelly Anspach; and four greatgrandchildren, Dustin Eisenhauer, Austin Anspach, Alyssa Anspach, and Ashtyn Anspach. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. from St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 312 S. Tulpehocken St., Pine Grove, with Dr. Richard Schoenleber officiating. There will be a viewing on Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of service at the church. Burial will be in Jacob's Lutheran Cemtery, Pine Grove. The H. L.
