"Died of Cancer"
"Mrs. Lottie Cox, wife of A. F. Cox, aged 40 years, died in Lampasas on the morning of the 7th, of cancer of the breast, with which she had been afflicted for many years. Her maiden name was Greer, of a pioneer family of Burnet county, and was a niece of Messrs. B.H. and C.C. Stewart, well known citizens of that county. A husband and five children and a large family connection mourn her death.
The body was taken to Mahomet, Burnet county, for interment in the family burial ground."
