Charles moved his family to Story Co IA between 1870-80. 13 Aug 1876 Grant Story Co IA Sarah married Joseph Luther Cory, son of Isaac Walker and Charlotte Roberts Cory. From this marriage there were born four sons, Bert Ranes, Charles Walter, James Curtis and Robert, and three daughters, Grace, Sadie and Sylvia.
Sarah became a christian at the early age of 13 and lived a true and lovely life. She was a loyal wife and devoted mother.
