Reuben O. Albright, an aged and well-known resident of Lancaster, died Thursday, April 7, at his home. He was in the eighty-third year of his age and death was due to a general breaking up of the system. For six months he was confined to bed. Deceased was born in Warwick, and later resided on Broad street this borough, but for thirty years he has resided in the city. By occupation he was a chair maker and painter. About eighteen years ago he had a hand injured, since which time he had been unable to work at his trade. He was a member of the Moravian church. He was highly respected by all who knew him and his many friends will hear of his death with regret. He was a veteran of the Civil War. He was a member of George H. Thomas Post, No. 84, G. A. R., Keystone Lodge, I. O. O. F., of Bethlehem and Lititz Lodge, No. 253, Knights of Pythias. His wife and the following children survive : Mrs. A. N. Breneman, of Aldridge, Ala.; Amos M. Albright, of Wilmington, Del.; Mrs. G. M. Leibig, of Sparrow's Point, Md.; Helen A. at home, and Rev. S. C. Albright, of Fry's Valley, Ohio. The funeral was held Monday afternoon, when services were held in the Lititz Moravian church. Interment in the Moravian graveyard."
