Mrs. Anna Clevy, 92, a long-time resident of the Claremont community, passed away early this morning at the home of Miss Anna Thomson, where she had been cared for the last few months. She was a lifelong resident of Richland County and was the daughter of Isaac F. Jones and Martha E. Gudgel Jones. She was married to William Clevy and he preceded her in death several years ago. Mrs. Clevy was a member of the Claremont Christian Church. She leaves a niece, Mrs. Olive Ridgley of Bridgeport, who was reared in her home, four grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She also leaves a brother, Logan Jones of St. Francisville. Funeral services will be held Friday at the Memorial Chapel of the Summers-Marshall Funeral Home with Rev. R. E. Dowden officiating. Interment will be in the Mt. Pleasant cemetery.
