VANAMAN - Harry Ray Vanaman of 4795 Franklin Blvd. No. 2, Eugene, passed away February 27, 1979, at the age of 67. He was born October 8, 1911 in Cimarron, Oklahoma, and was married January 26, 1946, in Fayetteville, Arkansas, to Edith Viggins. He had lived in Eugene for two years. He is survived by his wife, Edith, of Eugene; 1 brother, Homer J. Vanaman of Floresville, Texas; 2 sisters: May King of Eugene and Mattie Irwin of Grants Pass, Oregon; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceeded in death by one brother, Howard, on January 24, 1976. Funeral services will be Thursday, March 1, at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Memories Funeral Home, 3745 West 11th Avenue, Eugene, with Pastor Leo Hornaday of the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church officiating. Interment in Lane Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be until 8 p.m. tonight and 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon Thursday.
