Albert L. Bardo, 86, of formerly of Jacks Reef passed away February 3rd in Nashville, TN. Born June 27, 1929 in Syracuse, Al lived in Central New York before moving to Antioch, TN. He served in the U.S. Army. Al worked for New York Central/Penn Central/Conrail for 45 years. He was a life member of the Plainville Fire Department and a member of the Jordan-Elbridge Band Boosters. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family. Fishing was a favorite pastime. Al was predeceased by his parents, Theodore and Viola Bardo; two sons, Scott and Stephen Bardo; two brothers, Robert and Charles; and two sisters, Shirley Zackowski and Elizabeth "Betty" Basile. Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Joanne Bardo; children, Sandra (Steve) Look of Port Byron, Sharie Bardo of Antioch, TN, Sean Bardo of Smyrna, TN, Sheryl (Jeremy) Ivy of Mt. Juliet, TN; two grandsons, Lucas Bardo and Landen Ivy; one granddaughter, Haiden Ivy; his sister, Kate (Carl) Campbell of Tampa; his brothers, John (Doris) Bardo of Baldwinsville and John Ferguson of Memphis; several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, May 6th at the Bush Funeral Home, 120 E. Main St. (Rt. 5), Elbridge. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Jordan.
