Timothous (Tim) Baumberger, 53, of Evansville, Ind., passed away November 26, 2009, at his residence. Tim had a passion for blues music and history. He was a longtime Evansville resident and a graduate of Harrison High School. Tim was a salesman at Baumberger's Mattress Plus. He was artistic, enjoyed woodworking and also worked as a guitar technician, restoring and customizing vintage guitars. Tim had a kind and generous heart and could not say no to a friend in need. He had an optimistic outlook on life and always believed everything was "going to be just fine."

Tim is survived by his loving companion of 7 years, Marcia Taylor of Evansville, Ind.; brothers, Paul (Mary) Baumberger of Newburgh, Ind., Sam (Cheri), Baumberger and John (Sue) Baumberger of Evansville, Ind.; nieces and nephews, Paul (Marcia) Baumberger Jr., William (Christy) Baumberger, Richard Baumberger, David Baumberger, Steven (Kristen) Baumberger, Greg Baumberger, Darren (Elizabeth) Baumberger, Brian (Yoko) Baumberger, Jenie Qualls; and 12 great-nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by parents, William E. Baumberger in 2006 and Mary "Notie" (Byrd) Baumberger in 2004, and sister, Frieda (Rainy) Loraine Baumberger in 1949.

Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, November 30, 2009, at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., with the Rev. Carl Mann II officiating.

Friends may visit Monday, November 30, 2009, from 2 to 7 p.m. at Browning Funeral Home.
