FLOWERS

MONT BELVIEU -- Services for Buster H Flowers, 85, of Mont Belvieu will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church in Mont Belvieu with the Revs. Rudy Pace and Bobby Smith officiating.

Flowers died Thursday at a Baytown hospital.

He was a retired foreman of the Nils-Bennett estate. He had lived in Mont Belvieu since 1929.

He is survived by a son, Buster Flowers Jr. of Mont Belvieu; four daughters, Kathleen Prejean and Nita Reiff, both of Beaumont, Alice Archer of Mont Belvieu and Edith Tolleson of Trinity; three brothers, Emmett, Clarence and Rose Flowers, all of Honey Island, Texas; and a sister, Edith Balla of Kountze.

Nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren also survive.

Burial will be at Fisher Chapel Cemetery in Mont Belvieu.

Pallbearers will be Edward, Richard and Tommy Prejean, David Tolleson, Mike Flowers and Edward Reiff

Honorary pallbearers will be Earl Porter, Floyd Faulk, J. W. Guest, W. G. "Dub" Woods, Lloyd Gigout and Jack Barber.

In lieu of other remembrances, donations may be made to the Mont Belvieu Emergency Medical Service.

Arrangements are under direction of Sterling Funeral Home in Dayton.
