Norman Bruce Snyder of Berlin, R.D. 1, died in the Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, Thursday, Sept. 27th, after a short illness. He was a son of the late Lewis [Levi] and Susan (Ringler) Snyder and was a native of Somerset County. He was a member of the Fritz Lutheran Church. Mr. Snyder was a highly respected and upright citizen and expert carpenter. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Annie Wahl Snyder, and the following children: Mrs. Morris Brant, Berlin, R.D.; Mrs. Richard Dumbauld, Somerset; George Snyder, Elyria, Ohio; Howard Snyder, Cumberland, Md., and William Snyder, Garrett, R.D. 1; also by a brother, Charles Snyder, Somerset R.D., and a sister, Mrs. Frank Cunningham, Somerset. Funeral services were held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at the family home, Rev. John S. Hoenstine, his pastor, officiating. Interment in the Fritz Church cemetery with Johnson and Son in charge.
