VAN WERT - Hazel M. Palmer, 87, died at 1:05 a.m. Saturday at Van Wert County Hospital following an extended illness.
She was born Sept. 16, 1897, in Van Wert, the daughter of Fay L. and Addie Miller
Mrs. Palmer was a retired pie baker for Balyeats Restaurant in Van Wert. She was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church .
Survivors include a son Fay Palmer of Van Wert; two grandchildren; two brothers, Carl Miller of Van Wert and John H Miller of Middle Point; and three sisters, Beth Stripe of Shane Hill Nursing Home of Rockford, Rachel DeMoss and Mrs. Fred (Lois) McCollum, both of Van Wert.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Woodland Cemtery. Van Wert. Rev. Edwin Vance officiating
Friends may call at Alspach Funeral Home, Van Wert, from noon until 2:45 p. m. Monday.
