Maxine Claudia Allen
Casper – Services for Maxine Claudia Allen, 85, will be held on Saturday at 10 am at Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery.
Mrs. Allen died Dec. 19, 1995 at Shepherd of the Valley Care Center.
She was born Sept. 8, 1910 in Oblong, IL to Charles C. and Elizabeth (Smith) White.
She had lived in Casper nearly all of her life and she and her husband were very active in community organizations.
She married James Allen on May 13, 1929, in Cheyenne.
She enjoyed doing crafts and crocheting, she loved to travel and she like being around her grandchildren.
She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church.
She is survived by her son, Jack Allen of Laramie; a daughter, Helen Allen McMeel of Great Falls, MT, seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband in 1981.
