Joseph A. Alexander, USN (Ret.), 93, of Memphis, passed away at home on November 23, 2009. He was the widower of Ruth V. Dickens Alexander. He was a member of the Millington Lodge #671, Free and Accepted Masons; Rosemark Chapter #225, Royal Arch Masons; and the Airstream Club. Mr. Alexander leaves his daughter, Lynda Alexander of Palo Alto, CA; son, Joseph A. Alexander, Jr. of Memphis; grandchildren, Chris Mischak of Orange County, CA and David Mischak of Fremont, CA. Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 25 from 5-8 p.m. and Friday, November 27 from noon until the service at 1:30 p.m. at the Millington Chapel.
