Henry Willis, Retired Farmer, Answers Call.

Davenport, Wash., April 4.—Henry C Willis, 77, a resident of this community for 36 years, died yesterday. He had been ailing for several weeks and had suffered two strokes during recent months.

Mr. Willis was born in England and came to this country in 1903 and to the area north of Davenport in 1911. He farmed on Indian Creek, northwest of town, for many years and after the death of his wife some years ago moved to Davenport and operated a greenhouse and garden in town.

He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. August Reinbold of Davenport; seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and a number of nephews and nieces."

Henry and his first wife, Elizabeth, were the parents of three known children, George H, James Sidney, and May Lillian.

Elizabeth died in 1898 in England in childbirth with their daughter May.

Henry remarried prior to the 1901 census in Essex, England.

In 1910, Henry and Marie were with two children, James Sidney and May Lillian, on the Miles, Lincoln Co census;.
