Mounger, B Esther: (TS: 1888-1978); "Funeral services, under the direction of the Strate Funeral Home, were held last Saturday, Sept 16, 1978 for Esther (Mrs Guy) Mounger, 90. Mrs Mounger was born in Roane County, TN, on July 12, 1888 and died at the Lincoln Nursing Home on Sept 13, 1978. She had been a resident there for the past 15 years. Mrs Mounger, whose maiden name was Esther McGill, married Guy Mounger on Feb __, 1909 in Lebanon, TN. He preceded her in death in 1962. Following their marriage, they came to Washington and lived in the Davenport area for 30 years. They then moved to Fruitland, WA, where they had purchased a farm and later purchased a farm in Kettle Falls, WA, operating it for 12 years. Mrs Mounger had been active in the old Larene Church and in ___ transferred her membership to the Davenport Presbyterian church. Survivors include two sons, Darius Mounger of Kettle Falls and Edwin Mounger of Hawley, MN; five daughters, Mrs Louie Oehlwein, Mrs Elmer Reinbold and Mrs Herman Reinbold, all of Davenport, Mrs Joe Pimentel of Arvada, CO and Mrs Ted Hagen of Marysville, WA. Also surviving are 17 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren, plus numerous nieces and nephews. Officiating at the funeral was the Rev Roger V Muisiner.
