Mrs. Miles was born in Fordsville KY the d/o William and Sallie Cheek. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Farmer City, Mignonette Rebekah Lodge, DeLand, and honorary member of WCTU. She married Byron Miles on April 26, 1906. He died in 1964. Surviving are her son, Morris of Rock Island; daughters: Thelma McIlvain, Farmer City; Vivian Wood, Champaign; three grandchildren; six gr-grandchildren; six gr-gr-grandchildren.
