She was born May 13, 1919, to John and Emillie (Zoilner) Jung in New England, N.D.
On May 19, 1951, she married Asa H. Curtis in Holyoke.
Mrs. Curtis was a custodian at the Herbie Dorm at NJC from 1972 until 1982. She worked at Sterling Living Center as a CNA and she volunteered at the Area Agency on Aging and Meet and Eat. She was a former member of the First Foursquare Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Debra J. Bower of Colorado Springs; sister; Kathryn Steen of New England, N.D.; four grand children; and eight great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Asa Curtis in 1991; son, Rickie Curtis; four brothers; and eight sisters.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Plains.
