OBITUARY - Plain Dealer, Wabash (IN) - April 1, 1892

Warren Williams, County Recorder-elect, died at his home on West Market Street at 10:50 a.m. Thursday of bronchial pneumonia, aged fifty-three years, five months and fifteen days.

Mr. Williams was born in Fayette County, this state, October 15, 1838, moved to Wabash County in the year 1847, locating in LaGro township where he resided until after the last county election, when he was elected to the office of County Recorder, carrying the county by the largest majority of any candidate on the ticket.

Several months ago Mr. williams moved into the city. Few men enjoyed the confidence of his friends more than he. Simple in his manenrs and customs he possessed a tender, loving heart, and was ever ready with act, word or deed to assist his friends and neighbors.

In the year 1867 the deceased united with the Zoar Christian Church and has since lived an humble, consistant Christian life.

Mr. Williams, a short time after moving into the city was taken quite sick of the grippe. He recovered from that attack and it was thought that he had regained his usual health, when about two weeks ago he was suddenly attacked by bronchial pneumonia, which resulted in his death as stated above.

His wife and two sons are left to mourn their great loss, and the sympathy of the entire community is with them in their bereavement.

Funeral services were held at the late residence of the deceased Friday, April 1st at 2 o'clock with Rev. C.E. Morgan officiating. #Burial in Falls Cemetery.
