Bertha D. Attebery

Cheyenne - Funeral services for Bertha D. Attebery, 86, will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Highland Cemetery in Casper by Rev. Bill Iams of the First United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Attebery died Aug. 18, 1991, at the DePaul Hospital.

She was born May 5, 1905, in Marceline, Mo.

On Nov. 8, 1922, she married Dewey S. Attebery in North Platte, Neb.

The couple moved to Sinclair in 1926 and moved to Casper in 1942. Mr. Attebery died in 1971.

Mrs. Attebery lived in Cheyenne for the past 19 years. She was a housewife and a member of the First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two daughters: Betty Oakley of Denver, Colo., and Barbara J. Smith of Cheyenne; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Ils May Oakley; six brothers; and two sisters.

The Bustard Funeral Home in Casper is in charge of the arrangements.
