Josephine was the eldest daughter of Theodore Boschen & Augusta Dusch, and the sister of Herman Boschen, Louisa Boschen, Louis Boschen, Johanna Boschen Anderson, Louise Boschen Bryant, Mabel Boschen Clark, Henry Boschen & Minnie Boschen Layne. She married James Chittum on Oct. 15, 1901, and they had four children: Linwood Chittum, James Chittum, Anna Chittum & Charles Chittum.
