Funeral services for Mrs Mary Ann Stone, 85, widow of Patrick L Stone, were held Sunday, April 19 at 2 p.m. at the Pomona church.
Mrs Stone died about 11 a.m. Saturday at the home of her son, Walter, Genesis Road, after many months of being in a frail condition.
Burial was in Pomona cemetery next to her husband, who died about 21 years ago.
She was the daughter of Thomas and Sarah Lowe Hale, pioneer residents of this county.
She is survived by 2 sons, Walter and William; 2 daughters, Mrs Grace Perry and Mrs Rube Worthington, Vandever; 2 sisters, Mrs J S Wyatt, Peay; Mrs Martha Welch, Crossville; 12 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.
