Mrs. Susie C. May Claimed by Death
Mrs. Susie Compton May, 79, native of Boyle county who lived here all her life, died at 4:45 o'clock this morning at her residence, after an illness of about five weeks.
She was born July 15, 1874, and was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. F. Carpenter, Danville, and Mrs. Howard Leigh, Indianapolis, Ind.; three sons, Sam H. May, Danville, W.R. May, Ludlow, and Lloyd May, Indianapolis, Ind., and 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Details of funeral and burial were incomplete today, but the rites are tentatively set for Thursday, with the Rev. Truett Miller, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiating.
The body is at Stith funeral home.
