Helen Ida (Albrecht) Gleitz, 92, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, Nov. 1, 2009.
She was born in Selma, Texas, on Sept. 5, 1917, to Hugo and Antonia "Toni" Albrecht.
She was baptized in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and was a member of the St. Ann's Society for 73 years. She donated birthday cakes to residents in the Autumn Winds Nursing Home for more than 20 years. She was dedicated to her family, church, and friends. Her example of perseverance and hope lives in all of us today. We will love and miss her forever.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 35 years, Paul Gleitz Sr.; her son, Francis; and three brothers, Milton Albrecht and his wife, Ervin Albrecht and his wife, and Clarence Albrecht.
