LAFONTAINE--Cleo G. Miracle, 83, rural Wabash, died at 2:13 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 29, 2002, at Rolling Meadows Health Care Center.
She was born on May 2, 1919, in LaFollette, Tenn., to Amon and Minnie (Hill) Bourff. She married Brown L. Miracle on Oct. 31, 1936, in Kentucky. He died on March 10, 2001. She was a homemaker and had lived the past 16 years in Wabash. She attended the Erie Street Free Will Baptist Church.
Surviving are four daughters, Margie Poole, Atlanta, Ga., Sue Eltzroth, Wabash, Della Griffin, Kentucky, and Kathy Cox, Alabama; four sons, Jack Miracle and Roger Miracle, both of Lagro, and James Miracle and Ricky Miracle, both of Wabash; one brother, Virgil Bourff, New Lexington, Ohio; two sisters, Arlettie Partin, LaFollette, Tenn., and Sylvia Wilson, Alabama; 28 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. One daughter and two brothers are deceased.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Emmanuel Free Will Baptist Church. Pastor Douglas K. Phillips will officiate. Burial will be in Falls Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Grandstaff-Hentgen Manchester Avenue Chapel, and one hour prior to services Monday at the church.
