Rites for Jodie Westmoreland
Funeral services were held Saturday for Mrs. Jodie (Saxon) Westmoreland, who died Friday morning at 2:30, after an extended illness.
Officiating were the Rev. J O Bearden, local Nazarene pastor, assisted by the Rev. W F Rogers of Houston Nazarene church and Rev. Bearden, local Nazarene pastor.
Mrs. Westmoreland was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jim Saxon, pioneer settlers of Houlka.
She leaves her husband Columbus Westmoreland and four sisters, Mrs. Nora Evans, Mrs. Mattie Morgan and Mrs. Modina Saxon of Houston, Mrs. Kittie North of Nashville and brother, Andy Saxon of Houston.
