Charles William Sanderson, 70, of Athens, died Sunday at a Huntsville hospital.
The funeral was Wednesday at McConnell Funeral Home with Jack Still and Ray Erwin officiating. Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mr. Sanderson was an Air Force veteran of World War II and a member of the Elkton Road Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Roleene Sanderson; two sons, Jim Sanderson of Falkville and Bill Sanderson of Huntsville; and a sister, Amy Throneberry of Capshaw.
