ESTHER E. GRAY
Esther E. Gray, 81, 210 Emerson Ave., Altoona, went home to be with her Lord Sunday evening, April 28, 2002, at Altoona Hospital.
She was born April 9, 1918, in Altoona, a daughter of the late Harry M. and Jennie M. (Raymond) Gray.
Miss Gray attended Foot of Ten Bible Church, Duncansville Rd.
She retired as a secretary from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Bureau of Employment Security in 1980 with 17 years of service. She previously had been employed as a secretary to George P. Gable of the William F. Gable Co. and at J. W. Shoenfelt & Son Plumbing and Heating Co.
Miss Gray was a 1936 graduate of Altoona High School.
She was a member of the Sylvan Hills Ladies Golf Association.
Surviving are a brother and sister: Clifford Gray of Palm Harbor, Fla., and Jane Snoberger of Mechanicsburg; a niece; and two nephews.
