She was a retired nurse's aide from Ohio Valley Hospital; a Protestant by faith; and enjoyed bowling.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Paul F. Carney; three sons, Ray and David Carney, both of Glen Dale, and Harold (Shelly) Carney of Korea; a daughter, Brenda J. Joseph of Bellaire, Ohio; four grandchildren, Casey Olnick of Beverly, W.Va., Amber (Greg) Auber of Elm Grove, W.Va., Tiffany Carney of Glen Dale, Rosaline Miles of Paden City, W.Va.; a sister, Jean (Charles) Riley of Glen Easton, a brother, Tom (Shirley) Bungard of Glen Easton; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
