Brother of Gustavo Burt. Married to Josie Burt; his daughter was Mary Josephine. He was listed as a miner on the 1920 U.S. Census for Mammoth. He died at age 33 from tetanus at St. Mary's Hospital. His 3rd finger on the left hand was cut/punctured in an industrial, job-related injury on Sept. 30, which later became infected. He was apparently originally interred in the Old Mammoth Cemetery but was relocated to the Mammoth Valley View.
