L.J. Arnold dies
Leslie Jacob Arnold, age 30, of 2404 Kensington Road, Upper Arlington, died Thursday in White Cross Hospital of complications after a long illness. He was an attorney and maintained offices in the Columbian Building.
Surviving him are his wife, Mrs. Ruth Pfous Arnold; his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Arthur T. Arnold, 3711 Olentangy Boulevard; a brother, Gilbert Arnold at home; and a sister, Mrs. Dean A Couch of Parkersburg, W. VA.
Mr. Arnold was graduated in 1925 from the law school at Ohio State University where he was an active member of Sigma Chi fraternity. He was also one of the founders of the Scarlet Mask Dramatic society on the campus, and a member of Phi Delta Phi legal fraternity.
During the world war, Mr. Arnold served as an ensign in the US Navy.
He was a member of First Community Church, Junior Steward of Community Lodge, F and A.M., Arlington Country Club, and the American Legion.
Funeral arrangements, in charge of the Schoedinger Co., have not been completed.
