Other family members in this plot:

1. Mary T. Austin

2. Elizabeth Taylor Austin

3. Catharine Austin

4. Amory Austin
(stone on far right in tree)

------------
Ivers Austin was a graduate of the U. S. Military Academy at West Point, Class of 1828; he is therefore the subject of a brief biographical entry in Cullum's Register of Graduates of the Military Academy (Cullum #513), in which you will find details to fill out the Find-a-Grave page. The Register entry is at
http://tinyurl.com/Cullum513

Notice that he's actually on the edge of the "famous" category, since he was a member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives; and the man he memorialized (whose grave doesn't seem to have made it yet onto Find-a-Grave), his friend and classmate, is over the cusp among our leading scientists of the 19c.
