OBITUARIES
Frank H. McDonald
Funeral services for Frank H. McDonald were held Friday afternoon at the Waggener and Campbell Chapel by the Rev. Don Adams of the Church of the Nazarene. During the service Bill Carr sang two hymns and Mrs. J. M. Carlson accompanied at the organ. Veterans of World Wars I and II acted as pallbearers and burial was in the Conrad Memorial Cemetery where military rites were given.
Frank Holmes McDonald was born July 12, 1887, at Pender, Neb., to Mr. and Mrs. B. H. McDonald. He grew up in Nebraska and on March 8, 1918, enlisted for service in World War I. He was made a corporal on June 15 and a sergeant June 25, 1918. He served overseas in the Vosges sector and was in the Meuse-Argonne offensive and received his honorable discharge June 25, 1919, at Camp Dodge, Iowa.
He was married April 19, 1924, at Lovelock, Nev., to Miss Mary V. Davis. Six years later they moved to Great Falls, Montana, where they made their home until coming to Kalispell in 1950.
Mr. McDonald died here Jan. 9 at the age of 69. He is survived by his wife, Mary V., at home; three sisters, Clara Bilger of Omaha, Neb., Grace Cornehl of Red Wing, Minn., and Mrs. A. E. True of Santa Cruz, Calif.
