Joseph married Margaret Eileen Fulmer/Fullmer on January 21, 1875 in Washington County, Ohio. Joseph and Margaret lived, as a couple, in both Washington County, Ohio and Grant Township (either Ritchie or Hancock County), West Virginia. As of this date, June 1, 2012, there can be found no written evidence that the couple had any children. In both the 1900 and 1910 Census, Margaret's record shows that she had not born any children ... that is, any that survived childbirth.
Joseph, who is my second Great Granduncle, lists his occupation primarily as a carpenter.
Joseph died in Grandview Township, Washington County, Ohio of valvular heart disease. He was buried at Knob Cemetery on March 26, 1931 along with his parents.
Oddly, Margaret Eileen Fulmer, Joseph's Wife, is buried in Newport Cemetery with her parents, Alexander Fulmer and Louisa Perkins Fulmer. This seems strange as neither Joseph or Margaret had been married previously. It seems strange that they were together, in life, for so many years, and yet, were separated at death.
