Mrs. William Payne, 81 years of age, of 207 Sanderson died at 10:05 am Thursday at Jennie Stuart Hospital in Hopkinsville, Ky., after a lolng illness.
Visitation was held after 4 pm. at the funeral home.
Services were held at 10 am Saturday at Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with Rev. John R. Christian officating.
A native of Christain County, she was born Dec. 21, 1901. Daughter of the late Cordie and Melissa Moore Gilkey. She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church.
Her husband, William Edward Payne died 1965; a son, William Lee Payne died 1923.
Survivors included two sons and two daughters.
