Services for James "Reggie" Sievenpiper, an Anchorage truck driver, were held at Kehl's Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Wes Smith officiating. There was a visitation preceding the service at Kehl's. There was also be a service at Northern Light United Church in Juneau. Mr. Sievenpiper, 46, died May 14 at Our Lady of Compassion Care Center.
Born Nov. 8, 1940, in Litchfield, Minn., he had lived in Alaska the past 36 years. He had been employed as truck driver for United Building Supply since 1979. He leaves his son, Seth, of Nampa, Idaho; his daughters, Alisa and Regene, both of Nampa; and his parents, Harley and Henrietta, both of Anchorage. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery in Juneau.
