DEATH OF MARCUS C. RIGGS.
A dispatch received by Judge Lyon from New York, to-day, announces the death, at Rutherford Park, New Jersey, this morning, of Hon. Marcus C. Riggs. Mr. Riggs was well known in this section, having been born in this county, and a resident for several years in Ithaca, where he commanded a large practice in his profession, and was highly esteemed in business and social circles. The remains will be brought here for burial, and the funeral ceremonies will take place on Thursday. The hour and place will be duly announced in these columns.

The funeral of Marcus C. Riggs will take place, to-morrow (Thursday) morning, at half-past ten o’clock, from the house of Mrs. Julia Ackley, corner of Mill and North Cayuga streets.
