Of Napoleon, passed away May 15, 2009 under the loving care of her family and Allegiance Hospice Home in Jackson, aged 76. She was born May 25, 1932 in Jackson to Roy S. and Vivian P. (Cole) Hersha. Winifred is survived by three children, Allen (Mona) Enbody of Jackson; Sally (Scott) Hodshire of Camden; Brad (Shirley) Enbody of Camden; ten grandchildren, Ben, Kelly, DJ, Jason, Bradley, Jennifer, Andy, Sarah, Brian and Nathan; eight great-grandchildren, Anna, Zach, Kaiden, Cole, Morgan, Maureen, Johnny and Adelyn; two sisters, Patricia (Charles) Phillips of Jackson; Sally Sprehe of Concord; Sister-in-law, Alice (Wayne) Cornish of Coldwater; brother-in-law, Max (Sandy) Hubbard of Napoleon; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dalen Wayne Hubbard; sisters, Elaine Cole, Genevieve Patefield; Geraldine Lawson; Gertrude Tittler; one brother, Elwin Hersha. Winifred worked for many years at Hancock Industries in Jackson. She then worked for Hardees in Vandercook Lake and later at Brochardt's in Napoleon. A viewing and funeral service to honor the life of Winifred Hubbard will be held at Charles J. Burden and Son Funeral Home in Jackson on Sunday, May 17, 2009 with Pastor Mike Bracy officiating. The family will receive friends for viewing at 1:00 p.m. and a service at 2:00 p.m. Cremation will follow as requested by Mrs. Hubbard. The family wishes to express their heartfelt appreciation to the people of Allegiance Health Hospice Home for the wonderful care they provided to Winifred in her short stay.
