Obituary - "Florence Violetta (Rozell) Elliott 1874 - 1961
A Plainfield vicinity resident most of her life, Mrs. Lettie Elliott, 87, died Sunday in Hancock Nursing Home. She had been at the home the past three years. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Goult-Patterson-Hardell Funeral home in Plainfield. Burial will follow in the Plainfield Cemetery. The Rev. Huntley C. Lewis of the Almond Methodist Church will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home until the services.
Mrs. Elliott was born in Rozellville, Wis., May 12, 1874, the daughter of the late Mr and Mrs Michael Rozell. The family moved to Plainfield when she was a small child. She married Edgar Elliott Feb 22, 1894 in Plainfield, and the couple settled on a farm west of the village. Mr Elliott died April 22, 1959, they had no children. Surviving are nieces and nephews."
