PARIS -- Tommy Risinger, 94, a retired carpenter, died Saturday, Feb. 19, 2005, at his home.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Monday, Mount Olive Baptist Church. Burial: immediately following service in Union Grove Cemetery. Visitation: was Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Philip Risinger.
Tommy was the son of John J. and Malissa Ozela Risinger. He was a carpenter, farmer and a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church.
He married Gertrude Evans Nov. 20, 1932, in Paris. She preceded him in death May 13, 1993. He was also preceded in death by a son, Thomas Risinger.
Survivors: Daughters, Jean Tidwell of Valley View and Rosalie Beeman and husband, Delbert of Fort Worth; daughter-in-law, Ann Risinger of Trinidad; grandchildren, Norma Alexander, Linda Russell, Beverly Stephens, Gary Tidwell, Leslie Beeman, Bobby Beeman, Jennifer Risinger and Alison Kinane; nine great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; brother, James Risinger and wife, Gerry of McKinney.
