Juanita Greene died at the age of 75, at a local hospital in Stamford, Texas. She was the daughter of Jewell Victoria (Henson) Cheek and Joseph William Cheek. She resided in Stamford, texas. She had moved to Stamford with her family, as a child. She graduated from Stamford High School, and was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church. She also was a great animal lover, and took in all kinds of animals, at her own expense. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jewell and Joseph Cheek, three husbands, James Lester Smith Sr., Robert L. Boutwell, and Richard L. Greene, one daughter, Nora Jewell Smith, two brothers, Burl Lee Cheek and William Henry Cheek, and two sisters, Winnie Grace McCown and Vernia Mae Anders. She was survived by: Two sons, James Lester Smith Jr., of Stamford, Texas, and Robert Gerald Boutwell of Arthur City, Texas, one sister, Billie Jo Vaughn of Haskell, Texas, and one brother, Gerald Cheek, of Haskell, Texas, also 8 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
