Inez was born in Illinois and soon after her birth her parents Phenias and Lydia Sayles Robbins moved to Fond Du Lac Wisconsin. Edwin and Inez had eleven children and ten lived to adulthood. Inez was killed in an auto accident in 1920. She was helping push her daughter and son-in-law's car out of the mud when the car broke loose and ran over her.
The picture above is the log cabin they built in 1877 when they came to Nebraska. The cabin was located north west of Tilden.
