Viola was the wife of Charles Franklin Walters.They married in 1905 in Waxahachie,Ellis County, Texas. They had one child, Hallie Faye Walters Dowdy.

Viola was born in Alabama to Jonn H. and Margaret Holmes-Harris. She was raised by her grandparents, but I do not know why, or what happened to her parents. Viola was a wonderful Seamstress and she owned a sewing shop in Italy, Texas for several years.
