Funeral Services were conducted Wednesday afternoon in the Full Gospel church for Mrs. Callie Ethel STOWE, a resident of the Waka community for 29 years, who died Monday after a brief illness. She would have been 58 years of age on July 04.
She was born July 04, 1896 at Rising Star, Texas, to Mr. and Mrs. Oliver O. YOUNGBLOOD.
Rev. Olen Bachler and Rev. Calvin Cook conducted the final rites. Pallbearers were Clarence CLEMENT, C. J. FRANTZ, Sr., Ray GIBSON, Knox PIPKIN, J. P. BERRY and Dale SMITH.
Flower girls were Mrs. Laura BARNES, Mrs. Know PIPKIN, Mrs. Clarence CLEMENT, Mrs. Ray GIBSON, Mrs. Cora SMITH, Mrs. J. P. BERRY, Mrs. Nadine BRANDWITH and Mrs. Aaron DIEHL.
She is survived by her husband, M. R. STOWE of Waka; two sons, Claude STOWE of Spearman and Marcus R. STOWE of Waka; two daughters, Mrs. L. A. LATKENHORST of Siebert, Colorado and Mrs. Imogene BALLARD of Amarillo; a brother, W. N. YOUNGBLOOD of Sweetwater, Oklahoma, and seven grandchildren.
Interment was in the Ochiltree Cemetery.
