The death of William Penn Bunch occurred Sunday afternoon from heart failure. The funeral was held Tuesday afterrnon from the home and interment was at the Walnut Creek cemetery. Rev. Hine had charge of the funeral services. The deceased was born in Jackson county, Virginia in 1831. He had lived in Kansas for almost thirty years.
NOTE: Jackson County, VA later became part of West Virginia.
