Death Follows Soon After Her Wedding
Mrs. Griffith Married on Deathbed Last Thursday and Died Yesterday.

Married on her deathbed last Thursday Mrs. Annie V. Griffith, wife of Mr. Eldridge Griffith, died yesterday at her home, 123 West Pratt Street, after a prolouged illness. Mrs. Griffith was in her thirtieth year and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Weiner.
Ever since her divorce from her first husband Mr. Griffith has been attentive to the invalid and had long urged the wedding. Owing to her condition, however, she demurred until on Thursday when she finally cousented and the cermony was performed by Rev. Dietrich H. Stevens. The end came yesterday morning.
The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home of Mrs. Griffith's brother, Mr. George Weiner, 712 West Hamburg Street, and Mr. Steffens will read the burial services over the woman, whose marriage he had so recently performed. Mrs. Griffith leave her mother, four brothers and one sister (George, Charles, Andrew and Henry Weiner and Mrs. Mary Langohr.
