Mary Elizabeth Fry was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, April 16, 1856 and died July 29, 1915 at Stockton, Kansas. She came to Doniphan County, Kansas, with her parents at the age of 12 residing the greater part of the time in Kansas. She was married to Francis McCue at Severance, Kansas in 1876. To this union were born three children (Thomas Francis, Mary, and unknown) of whom only one survives. Mr. McCue died in 1885. Mrs. Mccue then came to Stockton in 1894 and was again married to Charles Robinson in 1903. She professed faith in Christ and united with the Baptist Church in 1900 and transferred her membership to the Methodist Evangelical Church in 1911. She leaves one son, two sisters, and one brother to mourn her loss.
